About the Artist
Distanz Dawn Valerie Monterde is a Cebu-based freelance digital artist with a wide range of interests in art and music. She began as a self-taught artist at the age of three and was strongly influenced by her late sister, Nikki Marie, a realist artist who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder (manic depression). Distanz honors and dedicates her passion for art to her late sister.A lot of her inspiration comes from anime, chibi, and online gaming. She is a versatile artist who can work with different types of mediums: digital, traditional, or mixed media. While Vector and Chibi Portraits are her forte and favorites, her bread and butter is Logo Designing.Creating art has always been her avenue to express her feelings at the moment. Whenever she's happy, she creates vibrant anime sketches, does floral watercolor paintings, or makes paper dolls. On the other hand, when she's feeling down or depressed, she tends to create abstract art or ink doodles. Even without any specific reason, she still does art! She's also a huge fan of DIY crafts and digital art, especially chibi art, vector art, and creating gaming logos.Distanz is an advocate of the concept "Art is Everywhere and Anywhere" and firmly believes that art is universal and unlimited. She thinks everyone has the gift of art, but it needs to be nourished and flourished. Interestingly, despite her talent, she pursued a different path unrelated to the arts. She graduated with a degree in Business Administration in Financial Management, and she also has an eye for numbers. Recently, she finished her units in Professional Education and envisions herself to be an educator one day.Overall, Distanz Dawn Valerie Monterde is a talented artist with a strong passion for art and a belief in its limitless potential.
History
It all started as a recreational hobby during her high school years, when Friendster became popular and HTML coding was all the rage (circa 2007). She started offering her services by editing photos using Photoshop at a self-paced learning; later, she also included customizing Friendster profile layouts with HTML and CSS coding, and the rest is history. As a digital nomad since 2013, she fell in love with digital arts all the more and went from one software to another, including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw, Paint Tool SAI, Clip Studio, Ibis Paint, Infinite Painter, Procreate, etc.The artist has spent well over 5 years studying her craft, in which her expertise ranges from digital illustrations (vector, digital sketching, anime/chibi), logo making, logo design, web design, layout, etc.

How Do I Pay?
We only accept payments from Gcash or Bank Transfer. A 50% deposit is required for each commission to commence. When the client wishes to cancel the transaction, the down payment is non-refundable and must be forfeited.

How Long Does The Drawing Usually Take?
Within 5-7 business days or not longer than 10 days, depending on the number of projects the artist is currently handling, though we will always finish them as early as possible.
How Will I Received The Output/Files/Drawing?
You will be provided with a Google Drive link containing all the files of the project that is accessible and valid for one (1) year upon receipt or completion of the project, which will be deleted automatically after a year from its date of completion.
Do You Do Revisions?
1 FREE revision on the final output should only be limited to "slight modifications" in relation to color, fonts, and other simple or editable elements.
The artist has the right to decline modifications
Will The Drawing Have Watermarks?
Final output will have no watermarks
Watermarks will not be removed until project is fully-paid

Terms and Conditions
Artworks
Pre-Sale
A 50% deposit is required for each commission to commence: payable via Gcash or Bank Transfer only. Final approved output will only be provided upon full payment. When the client wishes to cancel the transaction, the down payment is non-refundable and must be forfeited.
Strictly no background (color or image) for any of the artworks. (With the exception of gaming logos, mockups, and tarpaulin layouts.)
No to "Start From Scratch." Please provide a rough draft, a reference, or a concept you have in mind, and we'll start from there.
Timeframe: Within 5-7 business days or not longer than 10 days, depending on the number of projects the artist is currently handling.

Artistanz can only accommodate up to two (2) commissions a day. Please be patient with your requests.
Rush requests will incur a fee ranging from P200 to P500, depending on the artist's discretion and the complexity of the work.
Be mindful that the prices listed here may change at any time without prior notification.
The artist has the right to refuse, the right to suspend work, and the right to terminate an ongoing project.
Post-Sale
The artist assumes no liability or responsibility for any losses that may occur in relation to the artwork.
The artist relinquishes ownership of the artwork, but retains the right to use the output for social media and marketing purposes without the need of any permission from the owner.
File storage is only good for one year and files will be deleted automatically from Google Drive. Please make sure to save your files on your own, as the artist will not be held liable if files can no longer be retrieved.
